Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the LebCad app and the lebcad.com website ("LebCad", "we", "us") collect, how it is used, and the choices you have. We built LebCad to work with as little personal data as possible: there are no ads, no analytics trackers, and we never sell personal information.

1. Information you give us

• Account details. If you create an account, we store your email address and the first and last name you enter. Signing in with Apple or Google shares your email and name from that provider, under your control on their consent screens.
• Saved content. Places you pin, the names you give them, and measurements you save are stored with your account so they can sync across your devices.
• Support messages. If you email support@lebcad.com, we receive your address and the contents of your message.

2. Information collected automatically

• Purchase status. Subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google. We receive a confirmation of your subscription status (not your payment details) through our purchase-management provider so the app can unlock paid features.
• Basic technical logs. Our service providers keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses in server logs) needed to run and secure the service.
• Zones you download. When you download a zone map we record which zone it was and when, linked to your account or subscription. This is what lets you re-download a map you already have as often as you like, and it is how we notice bulk copying of the map library. It records the zone, not anything you did inside it.
• Device registration. A subscription works on a limited number of devices. To count them, the app generates a random identifier for each installation and sends it with your device type and a general model name such as "iPhone 15". That identifier is created by the app. It is not your hardware serial, advertising id, or phone number, and it identifies an installation rather than you.

We do not collect location data, and we do not record which lots you search, view, or measure. That happens entirely on your device; downloaded zones are stored locally and work offline.

3. How we use information

• To operate the app: accounts, sync, and paid-feature access.
• To apply the limits that come with a subscription, such as the number of devices it covers and how much can be downloaded.
• To provide support when you contact us.
• To secure the service and prevent abuse.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

4. Sharing

We share data only with the service providers needed to run LebCad: cloud database and authentication hosting, purchase management, and content delivery. They process data on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the service.

5. Data retention and deletion

Download and device records are kept while your subscription is active and are removed when your account is deleted. A device slot that goes 30 days without use is released on its own.

Account data and saved content are kept while your account is active. You can delete individual pins and measurements in the app at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, email support@lebcad.com from the account's address and we will complete the deletion within 30 days.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Access to production systems is limited and protected by authentication. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information with industry-standard measures.

7. International transfers

Our service providers may store data on servers located in other countries. Where they do, they are bound by contractual safeguards for the protection of personal data.

8. Children

LebCad is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date above. Material changes will be highlighted in the app or by email where appropriate.
